We are thrilled to announce Tauana McDonald FACHE as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Mount Carmel Health System, effective July 1, 2024. Tauana brings a wealth of experience to the role, having joined Trinity Health in 2003 and has served in numerous leadership positions, most recently as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Mount Carmel Grove City. Tauana is the first African American woman to lead as president and CEO in the 138-year history of Mount Carmel, marking a historic milestone for health leadership in Central Ohio. Her dedication to excellence and a values-driven approach have been instrumental in transforming our health system, especially during critical times of stabilization and growth. As we welcome Tauana into her new role, we look forward to her continued leadership and commitment to advancing our mission and serving the Central Ohio community.
